Just noticing that I'm being charged 20¢ each for new listings. I have a basic store which entitles me to 250 listings. I presently have 230... anyone have any info?

You get 250 free basic insertions per month. That includes all listings which have begun since the first of the month, including any that have ended and any that were "Good until canceled" listings that have rolled over during the month. It's not about how many listing you have active at any point in time.

are you trying to list more than 230 at once? Do you still have 50 free listings? If you have either of those # say you still have 30 free listings dont try listing more than 30 try 29 and see if it tries to charge you - this is a glitch I noticed a few weeks ago. If you go over the free listing# it tried to collect listing fee.

When you make a listing, there should be a box at the bottom that tells fees.
ebay has a habit of turning on options like bold etc.

Thanks for your info and time. Just Googled my question and found it's for exactly the reason you stated. I guess I'm listing (and selling) more than I realized... and that's a good thing. 🙂
Thanks again.

Oh ok so my suggestion to you is only use 30 day listings not good until cancelled or ebay will just charge you fee and relist on your behalf over and over. Whether you have free listings or not.
