What's wrong with eBay?
I listed a coin listing where the buyer got 5 coins from before 1958. Only a buck fifty for 5 coins and a roll of wheat pennies (I had a lot of them) about a month ago. These are two seperate listings.
Today, eBay removed them.

Some of your listings haven’t followed our Currency policy. We understand that you may not have been aware of this policy or that this may have been an oversight. So, in this email, we're including some policy information to help you with your future listings. We also had to take the following actions:

- We have credited all associated fees except for the final value fee for your listing(s). Replica coins aren't allowed on eBay. And...they ended a a $2 bill and a hand painted special edition coin too. These are not fake coins or digital currency! What am I supposed to do?

I forgot to mention that I called eBay using the link in the message, and the rep said they would try to get them back on, but I got an email saying that they would not list them again.

The eBay bots were the most stupid things ever made of all time. They are not smarter than 4th graders. Not even close.

That they are doing ANY enforcement in the Coins categories is news to me.
I have to say, what you've described seems a bit ridiculous and a misdirected waste of their resources. I can't see the listings in question, so I'm not sure they violated any policy or not.
I listed a coin listing where the buyer got 5 coins from before 1958.
It is possible they considered this a "grab bag" or "chance" listing. Technically the coin selling policy prohibits this, but there are literally thousands of such listings on eBay, many from their biggest most favorite sellers.
Only a buck fifty for 5 coins and a roll of wheat pennies (I had a lot of them) about a month ago.
Same situation. That's a good deal though, you can't really buy a roll of wheat cents for much less anywhere. I assume it's not on this ID you posted with, I don't see any completed listings there at all.
And...they ended a a $2 bill...
Makes no sense to me.
and a hand painted special edition coin too.
If that's a colorized Silver Eagle, or an "Obama 50 Cent", or a State Quarter, there's no policy violation with those either. eBay does prohibit Replicas, which you said these weren't, but they don't enforce that policy most of the time anyhow.
Perhaps you should move to China and take up selling counterfeit Gold Eagles... those sellers never have any policy violation issues.
These are not fake coins or digital currency! What am I supposed to do?
Whatever you do, whatever they tell you, DO NOT relist any of the listings they removed. CS is famous for telling you it's OK to relist, but CS doesn't talk to eBay's bot, and the bot will issue another violation if you relist in most cases. So don't do it.
You need to talk to CS and get them to remove any violations. Otherwise, these stack up on your selling account, and you'll be banned eventually.
Once you're sure your listing isn't violating any policies, you want to create and list an entirely new listing to avoid an automatic re-violation at the hands of the bot.

It was just a coin somebody colored/painted, probably in their spare time. I thought it was cool, so decided to list it.
