To my knowledge, the postal strike is over. If I'm not mistaken, it ended on December 17th.
So why can't you ship it?

I thought it was over too.. Took the package again to the Post Office this morning and they still will not ship to Canada. The buyer is OK with holding it but just don't want to get the defect. DANG!!

That is a very important piece of info, thank you.
Please notify the Shipping department that there are still issues in shipping to Canada. Thank you.

There's no official continuing coverage for the postal strike now that it's supposed to be over, but I would think this could qualify you. If you don't have many other defects I would just take it and not worry about it, but if it's going to be a problem, I'd think you'd definitely want to try and get that preemptively removed, or at least one someone's radar. @mam98031 tagged the people who can mostly easily help, or you could try to reach out to customer service, which I always suggest doing via social media.

USPS were two weeks late stopping acceptance of mail destined for Canada. Looks like they are planning to be 2 weeks late resuming normal service.
USPS updated their service status this morning........

Thank you, but I was responding to someone else having the issue, I'm not personally having this issue.
However I have to say that I've often been very critical of Ebay Customer Service saying what you said above. I find that really unfair to most small sellers. Sellers that are eval'd on the previous 12 months. Without a crystal ball we can't know when a defect is going to happen. So taking on some today that are not deserved or otherwise should happen, will be fine today, but can that be said for the next 12 months??? None of us knows.
For what it is worth, IMHO Ebay does need to step up and help sellers getting caught up in this mess.

I don't know why the forum said my comment was a reply to yours. I probably clicked the wrong thing.

No big deal. My response would have remained the same.
Happy Holidays.

USPS may be the cheapest service and the most efficient, and it certainly delivers where other carriers don't, but they are not the only carriers who ship to Canada.
