Why is my listing not showing in search results?

If I search for an item i am selling it does not appear in my search results. I've tried copying the whole title into the search window or just parts of it, but it simply does not appear in the results. I've even used the item number copied from the listing to no avail; i just get "No exact matches found".

The auction item shows up in my active listings and has apparently had 15 views in the last 5 days. I get the same problem in Firefox and Chrome and i don't use an adblocker in either browser. Can anyone explain this to me please and suggest a solution?

If you recently posted the listing, it can take up to 24 hours for it to show up in the searches.  You can see it on your Seller Hub, but the site has to re-index for everyone to see it.

If the item has 15 views then it’s in search. 
This is just a guess, but I see you are in the UK. Have you tried searching for your item in eBay.co.uk? Because at the moment your posting in the US site eBay.com. 
Log out then log into eBay.co.uk see if that helps at all.

Thanks. I'm not sure how i got to the ebay.com community; i guess i just didn't notice. However, i did my searching on ebay.co.uk (and the problem is still there today).

Should i repost this question on community.ebay.co.uk?
