Why is it so difficult to search on ebay?

I don't understand ebay's search engine (I guess that’s what it's called).

Sometimes I'll click on an item that has ended to see the seller's other items and get a totally different item by a different seller.

I've tried this in advanced search and either it doesn't work or I'm not doing it right.

Has it always been so difficult?

Not real conducive for buyers.

No wonder I see a lot of complaints about sales.

There are a couple of threads about  closed search not working with a few ways to get around it (maybe)

Well I found they've removed the "see seller's other items" from listings if they have a store.  Not exactly helpful to ME.

They made it harder on everyone when they decided to delete this permanently.

No, it hasn't always been this difficult.

Ebay's "improvements" are creating confusion and chaos for both sellers & buyers.
