Why is eBay suggesting my estimated delivery will be September 9 through 10 on this item?
https://www.ebay.com/itm/274467567923
If you look at my other items they are better some by 9 days better. Please someone explain it to me. I believe I am loosing sales.
Fact is I accept only customers in the USA including Alaska and Hawaii, ship within one day, AND it goes a First-Class. I have recently had an item that sold on a Friday (paid same day) shipped on Saturday, and delivered in Arizona on Monday... yet eBay wants to scare my buyers away for some reason.
What gives? Why is it different for different listings?

@netwizz760
Since deliveries are taking longer, they've extended the estimated delivery dates to help sellers and cut down on the INR cases.

True, but I don't know if that entirely explains the 18 day estimate for 1-day shipping. The additional time added for USPS delays appears to be somewhere around 2-5 days, from what I see. I could be wrong - just my experience.

eBay was giving wrong estimates wrong one direction. Now they are doing a sick flying dragon spin kick to throw those estimates out of whack the other direction.
Personally I am fine with it. Stuff is still selling and it helps get rid of unreasonable buyers.

Agree with what @gwzcomps said, and I am reminded of the following:
I believe ebay said they are adding time to estimated delivery dates universally, so everyone gets the same extension tacked on to the end.
Therefore, if your estimate differs significantly from the rest, there may be something else going on. 18 days does seem rather long so I'm tempted to think there's something else going on.

Ebay is compensation for the failures of the USPS to deliver within XX days. I shipped a 2-3 days priority mail order and it took almost 10 days to reach the customer.

Something else is going on. I just checked a few items on my Watch list that offer First Class shipping, and the delivery estimated dates were all sooner than that -- even the item that has 5-day handling and shipping from CA to MA had an estimate of Mon 8/31 to Sat 9/5.

And I just checked my estimated delivery dates vs. actual.
Estimated is about 5 days total transit time for First Class. Surprisingly, actual delivery to places across the country is 2 days for lots of my packages. I don't know what's up with that, but no complaints. CA to VA, GA, OH in 2 days. Wow.
But I digress. Yes, 18 days suggests something else to me.

It says estimated delivery September 5 for me (in Florida).
