Why i my been charged 0.01 ?

I know it is not much at all but

I want to know where and to whom am paying for god sake.

now i look in my account and for the life of me i can't find it any where why

i have to pay 0.01

Again, i don't mind paying if i know what am paying for that is all.

That is almost always just a verification that an account belongs to you. 

Some companies will charge .10 and then refund it-  

Did you set up or verify a debit card, checking account for payment somewhere recently?

No i did not actually, if it was for my account why didn't they take 1 cent before? 

am gonna pay but i don't understand but i will call and found out from cs

You won't be able to pay a penny - they will wait until your invoice goes over 1.00 before they charge you.

At least it used to be that way.

I am with Pika on this one... it is like a "ping" just to check a valid account.

I had it happen to me, for a few cents.

Ebay is currently running a promo for 500 auctions for 1 cent each.  Are you participating in that promo?  You can look on your My Ebay or Seller Hub and see if you are.

Where are you seeing the .01 charge?

Go to your "My eBay - Account" page and click on the "Fees" tab... do you see it there?

thats where i see it in my account i know how to look in to my account and go trough all the fees and make sure all the fees are going to the right items. 

i am a new seller but not stupid

but i don't see the 0.01 on the fee list at all 

all i see is total pay 0.01 

believe me i looked everywhere to find out why

its just not saying why.

i tried calling cs yesterday and i didn't not know morons work at the cs so they could not freaking tell me and am just more mad lol.

nope am not participating in any promo at all

and don't you have to have e-mail from them to be abble to accept if so i didn't get e-mail saying 500 listing for whatever much

Ok y'all just now went to my account again to look around more but total 0.01 i had to pay is gone now

what the hack was it for i don't know but am gonna assume it was a mistake.
