Why don't any of items I'm selling come up in a Google image search? Even when I type the exact title of my listing into the search box, it doesn't come up, but does pull up other sellers items as well as items that aren[t even related. (totally different make and year)
Are my items being hidden? I have 100% feedback and have for the most part of 20 years of selling on here. Views seem to be way down as well. Is it because my shipping rate is low, because customers build piles of 100 items or more and then I ship them for one low price. Insuring a super happy customer, but penalizing myself with a low ship out rate.
I know when I have searched for specific items to buy (certain parts for my vintage cars) I have actually had to use google to find them as they wouldn't show up on an ebay search on ebay, but did on a google search that then brought me back to ebay. (how does that make any sense?)
Could we get some programmers that actually have owned a business sold on line and tried to keep customers happy to start fixing things around here?
Has anyone else had similar problems? Hard to justify the 7.99 promoted listing fee on an item that starts at 1.99-2.99 with no reserve and does it even help anyways? I don't seem to see any extra foot traffic when i do that once in a while on an item I pray sells for enough to cover the fee. Considering I then have to get 11.00 just to give the item away for free once all fees are figured in.

You would have to subscribe to Offsite ads in order to have your items show up in a Google search. It’s a new type of promoted listing tool
Promoted listings standard only advertises your items in other sellers listings and higher position in eBays search.

So with offsite ads you are giving ebay a blank check with a limit and they will fill it out how they see fit as long as they stay under the limit you preset? How do you know if any of it is legit? Where do I get to see how many clicks were made and where the traffic came from, or is it all secret and a way to just charge an extra, as in the example, $300 fee a month to your account? I'm not against paying extra if the value is there, but it seems kind of ridiculous I have to pay more than the $15,000 a year I pay just to get my traffic back to where it was a couple of years ago. Almost feels a tad crooked to me. But I understand when there is no competition (hard to believe there isn't) that one can do what they want.

Auction listing rarely show up on Google, they are generally blocked by Google since they have such a short lifespan that they become dead links within a couple of days.

I would probably drop the "year" in the title and add it description or condition.
Your first word and key word is "Studebaker" and should be the first word in a title.
Need to be somewhat vague and not too exact on what is being sold to get the general audience.

For what the OP is mostly selling the year is absolutely critical information that should have a prominent position in the Title.

What did Google change in the last couple of years that don't let auction items show up? I have always done auctions with just a few buy it nows which are actually now 10 years old or more and in my near nonexistent store which I keep in there just to keep the store open. The auction stuff used to always show up. In fact a few years ago. when I would type in say studebaker car brochure, not even the year a bunch of my auctions would come up.
What about the items on ebay that don't even come up in an ebay search when it's keyworded exactly as the title states.
Why do they come up on a google search but not an ebay search?
I even had a regular customer ask me why I had no items for sale, when I had over 200 current auctions running. Even when I gave him the item number, he said it still showed i had nothing for sale and that item didn't exist.
I'm wondering if my stuff isn't coming up in regular search results even on the site. I've also had customer win almost everything one night regardless of price and then a few items that were of the same interest didn't seem to get a bid or went to one different buyer. It's like they can't see some or all of my items.
I'm just trying to understand what's wrong so I can fix it.
I've had what some would consider a rare item, I have never had before sell for an insanely cheap opening bid then selling common ones I have listed several times for better money just doesn't make sense dealing in the type of items I sell. Especially when it's the same customer winning the common ones , I'm pretty sure he already bought one of, but not touching the items that would be considered rare.

From what I just read on offsite listings no Auction items are eligible. So the company known as the #1 auction site in the world, has no way to promote my items anywhere other than on their site of which they will charge me a large premium for that. I guess 100 percent feedback and excellent customer service for 20 years is worth nothing or the $15,000 + in fees I pay every year.
I tried to sign up to facebook to try to generate interest through that to drive customers to my listings, but ended that attempt when they wanted a biometric ID. Um yeah I don't think so.
