Why does ebay think that first class from Fl to Or is 3 days?

But the big Kahuna said that the vast majority of shipments are delivered in 2 days.....

They use the time frames that USPS state on their website.

USPS does not guaranteed their delivery in that time frame, though.

From an online search:

"The Postal Service does not provide a money-back guarantee if items sent via Priority Mail fail to arrive by the scheduled delivery date."

Any of my first class hipped anywhere has been delivered in 3 days.

That is when there wasn't any weather as the one we are witnessing now.

It might surprise you that the 3 day time ago is given to us Hawaii sellers. What's so crazy is that mail scanned even at 9 AM doesn't leave Honolulu until 11:45 PM so there goes 1 day. Then all mail stops in LA first after 5 hours travel time due to the 2500 miles.  Then add on the 5 hour time delay due to time zones so you can figure there goes another day. The system is NUTS. Ebay NEVER should be asking sellers if items arrived within the time frame. Sellers start figuring the time based on when they paid for an item even if it is in the evening when the post office is not even open Ebay knows all this but wants sellers to get shipping defects so that eventually they can charge them higher fees. It's vicious for sellers.

I've had shipments from Florida arrive on the West Coast in 2-3 days many times.  Both First Class and PM.  Actually, I've had most shipments to Hawaii not take much longer than that.

I don’t see how the time zones would be a factor once an item has been shipped as shipping and arrival time are based on Pacific Time.  Also,  if your package is scanned within your handling time, you cannot get a late shipment.  As far as having to pay higher fees, late shipments do not result in higher fees.

if your first class package is going through orlando it will sit there in the sorting facility for at least 3 days before it moves on.  usps orlando stinks!

Ebay gives a $5 coupon for buyers that ask for it when their item did not arrive on time per the Guaranteed delivery on the listing.
