Billy club night stick - violates eBay policy for weapons yet 500+ other listings are live for the same item.

Just because others have listed the same, doesn't make it right or allowed.  They just haven't been caught...yet.  My suggestion is not to relist it or you will find your seller account jeopardized and possibly suspended.  Don't relist.

It is all in how a listing is posted.  Listings are scanned by software robots, looking for combinations of words, categories, etc. that help to identify a listing that is violation.

 

You triggered whatever patterns those robots are looking for ... the other seller did not.

 

Still, don't relist.  It is a violation, and once you get on the robot's radar, they pay special attention to you.

For the same reason I got pulled over and cited for speeding when there were 500+ other cars also speeding.

They just weren't caught yet.
