Why can't I list items

Whenever I try to list an item, after entering in the information eBay displays an error that says "Your request couldn't be processed because of a technical issue. Please try again." This has been happening for serveral days now. How do I fix it.

I am wondering if you know about eBay's limitation on new sellers. Are you possibly trying to list a high dollar amount item?

Have you set your account up to receive payments and pay for your fees?

You should start by making sure you have all your Site Preferences set appropriately.  Make sure you have your primary address, return to address, shipping address, all your addresses are set up.  

Go down ALL the Site Preferences slowly and in detail to make sure everything appears as you want it to.  When you are done with that.  Look to the left of your screen and click on any tab that you need to and make sure all the proper information is entered there as well.  Do this slowly and pay close attention to details.

Make sure you PayPal account is set up and the email address you have for your PP account is set up in Ebay as your PP account number.

When you set up your listing.  Make sure you also do this slowly and pay attention to detail.  Don't ASSUME anything.  If you don't know what something means, find out.  Make sure each section is filled out.  And don't overlook the all important field about payment.  Your PP email address should appear there or no one will be able to pay you.  Look at it closely so that you don't make a mistake in the email address that will cause you issues when it comes time for the buyer to pay.  Be very accurate.

If you done all this and still have an issue posting a listing.  Come on back and we can try to assist you a bit more.

I went through the setting you had described in your post and found that my PP was not linked. I linked it and the same error message still appears.

Now that you have it linked, do you have the correct email address set up in the listing you are trying to post.  There is a section on the listing form where you put in the email address of your PP account.  Look at it closely and make sure it is accurate.  Not even a character off.

I have done this but I still get the error. The email is exactly the same.

I am so sorry you are continueing to have these issues.  You will need to call Ebay to get an answer as none of us can see your account setting to figure out why this is happening to you.
