Why ask for Item Specifics only to delete them?

I was selling an orange cut to clear decanter.  it has a gold sticker that says Made in Poland.

So the item specifics come up-Where was it made?  I put Poland and my answer is deleted.  So I try again, and again and no, eBay has decided by whatever magical means that Poland is wrong, I'm clearly stupid and unless I say Czech Republic, they are not going to accept my answer.  Tomorrow, Had I not pulled the listing, they would have fought with me again.

in what logical world does any of this make sense?  Who is this all magical Oz who decides if you are right or wrong and can I show them the sticker?

Dont you hate those item specific banners that appears on ones listing? I get my share of them and sometimes they do not even specify what exactly they are looking for me. Sometimes I checked the "forget specific item" and still get it. You can't win.

The same is happening to me.  I fill out every field I am offered.  Then the information disappears and more fields are added to it all.  Same thing.  Place it was made, brand name, etc.

The new fields added are often crazy.  I am listing a piece of costume jewelry and they want to know if it is a certified gem, what the base metal is and the purity of the metal, What type of precious stone.  I clearly listed in a category for costume and they want info for fine jewelry.

And all things now have the added details of what character family is this, what character is this, and I don't sell children's Disney stuff very much.  I clearly listed an adult clothing item or jewelry that is vintage and they want all the Disney information on it.  Last I heard Disney did not make anything in 1910, and they don't make Mid century Modern butter dishes by Rogers. But there is usually more than 2 fields asking for the cartoon make believe information.

I have filled out listings that got the notification and some are rolling back around wanting info again.  I have other things to do.  I don't think they want us to succeed.
