is it just me, or do I feel this company had lost its way, so desperate to collect more on shipping, destroy why the site was developed in the beginning and has gotten so greedy and just want to be the next amazon, it was a collectors site.

It’s a collector’s site and everything in between now and that is VERY VERY GOOD because it attracts EVERYBODY. That someone looking for the run of the mill and buys may also be a collector.

You want to site to be like it was 20 years ago?
Start by eliminating 90% of sellers and then eliminate 90% of buyers!
eBay is a business, businesses either grow or fade away into obscurity.
eBay doesn't want to be the next Amazon, it's Amazon that wants to be more like eBay. That would mean a greater bulk of sales done by third-party sellers because that is where the money is. Amazon in the early days was selling their own stuff and selling at a loss, these days more than 50% is third-party sellers. eBay on the other hand from day one was 100% third-party sellers and still is.

Yes indeed. Let’s just hope they do not start poaching the eggs like they did a few years ago. LOL!
