Why are Delivery Dates Inconsistently appearing in Listings? Is this a Glitch?

Why are Delivery Dates Inconsistently appearing in Listings? Is this a Glitch?

When  I scan mines and other Seller's listings, some I see: the Delivery in 3 days and some have no date whatsoever.  I have a 99.8% delivered on time rate, so why is this happening.

I looked at 15 or 20 of your items, all had delivery in three days.

The easier you are to offend the easier you are to control.

The "Delivery in 3 days" shows when the Estimated Delivery Date can be determined to be 3 days or less. Anything above 3 days doesn't get a "call out" (it won't show "Delivery in 7 days, for example)

The determination is based on:

1) The location of the buyer and the seller in relation to each other.

2) The seller's handling time

3) The seller's track record of on time handling

4) The shipping method stated in the listing

When you look at your own listings, you see the Estimated Delivery based on your own location.

When you look at other sellers' listings, location, handling time and method all come into play.

It seems like a lot of people who post--both buyers and sellers--either don't know or don't understand this. Thanks for clarifying it for them. It's good information for everyone to have!
