Why am I receiveing OES_CONTACT_LINK?

I just recieved an ebay warning that 2 of my listings will be blocked because of email, phone number, or weblinks. I do not have any such links but I do have pictures posted in my descriptions.

Earlier received warning that they had to have https links so I updated that but now this.

Are we not allowed to have photos in our description any longer?

We are long time members with 100% feedback.

Now I also found out we can no longer have watermarks on our photos. Does this included my own name? Before I started that my photos were being copied and posted on other sites as if they belonged to someone else.

This is getting so picky that its really becoming more of a hassel than what its worth.

The bots are probably picking up something in your pics http.... So I would remove to avoid problems.

There is a member on here that knows the ins and outs of this stuff. I simply forget his name, maybe someone else can tag him.

Very frustrating. I long for the good old days of eBay 😉 when they actually cared about their members because they needed us.
I'm to small to keep dealing with this stuff.

You'll have to remove the watermarks from your photos. Not sure if you might have other issues.

Thanks that's going to be major work. Don't have originals and can't edit the watermarks off.
Clone and crop I guess :-{

As others pointed out, the watermarks may be what is triggering the bots. All watermarks are now prohibited.

As @berserkerplanet pointed out, the culprit triggering the notice is the hidden weblink.

Your embedded photos contain links to larger photos on an external website. The photos can remain, but the weblinks must be removed.

If you can not edit the code on your own, you can switch to the "Filtered" tab on the above scans and copy that repaired code back into the HTML tab of eBay's description editor.

Thank you. I'm a novice at this but will give it a try on next auctions. I didn't dare take a chance so I ended those 2 auctions and started over with no photos in description + took off the water marks on the gallery photos.
What a work for such small auctions.

Some countries in the EU require full disclosure from sellers in listings including full name, phone number, e-mail, full postal address and so on. What makes eBay USA so special other than they are afraid people will deal outside of eBay abd they will lose fees?

It seems to me that eBay are not interested in the small time seller anymore when they can make millions from worldwide full time sellers flogging Chinese rubbish.
