Why am I paying for the shipping? What did I do wrong when listing the item?

Hello, first time seller here.

I listed an item for sale for $150 with $30 shipping thinking I would get $180 from the buyer.  When the item got bought I only got 150$ and it says "Shipping: Free" in the order details. Did I do something wrong when listing the item or what?

eBay.com is in the USA, so its definition of domestic and international is based on the USA perspective. Since you are outside the USA, your perspective needs to be reversed.

When you list on eBay.com, "domestic shipping" is shipping to the USA and "international shipping" is shipping outside the USA.

So when you look at the listing, you are in Finland so you see the cost of "international shipping". But someone in the USA is going to see "domestic shipping", which you have set to "free".

Here is your listing as it shows the shipping costs to the USA and Finland.

Your most recently sold item definitely shows "Free Shipping" in the listing.  Don't have any idea how that happened, but have to presume the error was yours.

Okay, that makes sense then. I was thinking domestic would be here in Finland. You learn from your own stupidity. Thank you for your help.
