eBAY is telling me that they will stop allowing me to sell without my bank account number, but they already have my credit card on file. They claim that they will send the money DIRECTLY to my bank account.
BUT I STILL SEE ALL OF THE OTHER SELLERS STILL SELLING WITH PAYPAL ?????

@techristian Ebay started rolling accounts in to their Managed Payments program about 2 years ago ... the PayPal contract expires in 2023 (it was this year but they negotiated an extension). In basic terms, when something sells eBay will take 2-4 days to initiate a payout to your bank. Once they actually send the money it will take your bank 1-3 days to put the money in your account.
You can set up your account for Daily Payouts from eBay which EXCLUDES Weekends and Holidays, so that's about 110 days a year you don't get paid.
The other Payout option is for Weekly Payouts, that would be every Tuesday, the only issue with that is on Monday bank closing Holidays (and there are on average 6 to 8 per year) eBay will not send proceeds from sales occurring over the Holiday Weekend on the Tuesday payout, they will hold that money for an additional week. They have been asked to change the Weekly Payout day or give Sellers the option to select which day they want their Weekly payout but thus far there is no joy on that score.
My account went in last August. When a Seller's account is slated to go in it has to happen by a certain date, after that eBay will block the Seller's ability to create new listings or Relist existing listings.

THEN THERE WILL BE NO MORE SALES FROM ME ON EBAY
THEY KEEP CHANGING THE CONTRACT and RAISING CHARGES.
I will find other ways to sell.
I'm not giving Ebay my account number.
BYE BYE EBAY

Did you read ANY of the replies you have received so far? Do you have any questions? Your last feedback as a seller was sometime over at least a year ago now so you might have some selling limitations to begin with anyway.

Okay. Bye!

No, I don't think the OP read any of the replies, and if he did, he had his mind made up probably before he even typed out his original post. That is probably why he has but one reply here so far - that he is punishing us successful sellers and Ebay by stomping out as the final tantrum display. I wouldn't doubt that he had it all planned this way from the beginning.
I believe that a lot of the disgruntled, angry and bitter anti-Ebay detractors put a post up here just to waste our time and snicker at us trying to explain why their attitude is not in line with reality. It's just a manipulation and control of the narrative to satisfy their own emotions.
This OP had his mind made up and "left" Ebay long before his post here. That's why I have not entered this thread until now.
Very sad, but Ebay is much better off without such bitterness and hatred, IMHO.
Cheers, Duffy

Just think of all the information doctors can get from you under anesthesia. :-0

If you really don't want to give eBay your checking account number I suggest you give them my account number. I could us a little free money. 😆

No actually I was getting many spoof emails from Paypal and Ebay in the past and because of the threatening nature of these emails, I was hoping that this was NOT a new policy. After I saw others STILL using PAYPAL that seemed to prove that this was the case. So I was really hoping that this was just a bad dream. I still am an Ebay buyer, but will need to find other avenues for selling. So the OP was hoping that this was just more phishing email.

Good luck to you, Dan. There are viable ways to make this transition work for you as outlined up-thread.
Best wishes for whatever you choose to do!

If they perform brain surgery and you and the author of that passive-agressive joke, odds are they would come out empty handed.

You can not see if other sellers are still using Paypal - when you see Paypal on a listing that simply means PP is one of the payment options that the buyer can use.
When you look at a sellers listing if you see an additional buyers payment method called GPay - that means the seller is on managed payments.

Well funk! You missed the I'm leaving ebay party. WE had cake and everything.
Oh, and BTW. If you think the seller pays the fees you have been doing it wrong.
