My old sale just ended. I started a new 30 day sale but now I can no longer exclude my new listings from the sale. I like that feature because I can place everything in my store (over 4K items) on sale but I have a chance to sell my new listings for full price, and then they go on sale during the next sale.
I do not want my new listings to go on sale so I either have to list them at a higher price, or list them on a different seller site which I do not want to have to do.
Can someone explain the reasoning behind this change? It makes absolutely no sense for the seller. Can someone at Ebay change it back so that I can exclude my new listings on a sale?
Thank you very much!

You are exactly right. I am having the same issue. Although there is a way to remove an item from the existing sale, it sometimes takes several hours before the price changes to show it on sale. By then, a buyer could scoop it up at the sales price before I am able to edit and remove the item from the sale. Totally frustrating.

Same issue. There should be a box you can check when setting up a discount to exclude newly listed items.

Have you received an answer on this? I want to run a sale, excluding items that have been listed within the last 7 days. I have checked everywhere and cannot find a single answer to this.

I had no problem excluding items from a new sale I started yesterday.

How were you all doing that? I'm not sure what you guys mean, but you can manually select what's going to be in your sale, which is how I've always done it. I did it last week no problem. I don't have time to check right now, but I don't think they took that away.
How were you excluding the new listings? Was there a button or something? I've always done it manually. If there was a button, how did it define "new"?

Bulk add all of your items to the sale, then go back and unclick your new listings...is how I do it.
