What is going on? The following items when the title is put in the search come up as international-- I live in Pittsburgh!!! I just so happened to check on these items because they have been up for a long time (many months). These are just 3 items. I didn't look up everything. I need someone to look at my account to see if I am missing something here.

They moved eBay to China without telling us (so now US sellers are International).

I noticed the same thing about an item or two I have listed. If I search for it, it shows at the bottom under 'international sellers'.

I tried looking up the item in question for watterson414 by using the terms in the title in just a regular search (not by seller, just in the main search screen), and his shows at the bottom of the page under 'international sellers' for me too! (I'm from Ohio... so he shouldn't show as international to me!) A couple of my listings are doing the same. Seems something is wrong 😞

A couple of things. One you checked your listing from a device/computer eBay does not recognize and it assumed you were outside America, or at some point you checked a listing and tried to see how much it cost to ship to say, France. Until you log in again, eBay will assume you are in France, but rest assured everyone else sees your listings as originating in America.

I completely logged out of ebay. Now I would be a guest. It is showing as international. I think something is wrong. Someone else in the post saw the same thing as me.

Agreed. There is actually another thread / post in the discussion board (a much longer one, about 35+ posts) of multiple people saying the same thing. No resolution in that thread either 😞 (sigh)

I checked each of the five listings I have up ... not through 'my ebay', but did an actual keyword / title search on them. Through the regular search routine, one of the five listings didn't even show up until hours aftererwards, and another one shows me as an international seller at the bottom of the search results. The other three are fine ... go figure!

I hope they get it fixed soon.

I have an update. When I choose the US only radio button, I get my item in the usa. I now get that item showing in USA. The change appears to be permanent. That is why the one person in this post got the item in their results. Because I checked it with different browsers. I took one of my other items that had issues and opened it in a new browser type IE (internet explorer). I don't see the item at all -- not in international & not in USA. I don't know if it matters, but I have my husbands account & mine. I put them on separate browsers so that I don't have to keep logging in to each. I don't think this is the issue because ALL my items would be showing like this. I want to document this incase someone from ebay sees this.

I now don't trust the search engine at all. My advise is to check your items.

As a former IE user, switch to google. I found that IE is not combatible with ebay and many other sites.

Thanks, I don't really use IE. I was just testing a theory. Unfortunately, I can't reproduce what I did that appeared to 'fix' the problem. I even tried to relist (not using the sell similar) AND it still is showing in the international. There is something very wrong with the location radio buttons. I used to test software for a living, so I have been playing with the system. I can't figure out what it is doing. VERY FRUSTRATING because I now have to check every listing to make sure it is viewing.

I have another update to document. If I use google browser all my listings work fine. If I use Firefox some of my listings show in INternational. If I use Internet explorer, the items that appear as international in Firefox, don't show up at all. So, I hope our buyers only use google browser :). I know it is a big pain to test all the major browsers, however, ebay is getting millions in fees to list on their site. They should have testers testing for each browser & mobile apps.
