Why All listings have ZERO views?

Hey ebay community!

Yesterday I notice that all of the sudden all my listings have literally 0-1 views, I’m so confused of what happened or what could of caused this.. I’m not sure if there is a glitch on the system or it’s a way for eBay to restrict a seller, I’m not sure 🤔 Is anyone experiencing something similar and know why this happens? I’ve seen this happened before, but it usually corrects itself. Now it’s not and I’m not sure if I need to worry? I notice a drop in sales since this unknown crash.

Two months after I started having this problem, and you posted this problem… and most of my stuff still have zero views! Way to be on top of it eBay. They want us to list perfectly on our end but they don’t follow through on theirs? eBay has a massive issue in the ethics department. How are we supposed to properly analyze our store and metrics when we have no idea if customers are even seeing our items? eBay is a joke, they don’t care.

This has been happening to me too lately, even though I have a better item at a lower price and after 2 weeks 0 views but 5 others have sold for more in worse shape. Sometimes I search my item and it doesn't even come up in the search. Then I forget about it and a few days later it sells. I feel like they're shadow banning me sometimes

I have long suspected that any time eBay has made an announced policy change that they have also made more of their secret search algorithm changes.   Since I manually end all my listings on day 30 and use sell similar to relist items 2-6 weeks later,  I find it strange that I have items with watchers but 0 views.  What I find even more disturbing is that most of my listings show 0 views for the first 10 days, and it is now rare to sell an item within 3 days of listing it. 

My sales have been dead for sports related and guy stuff since April  - no sales from the NBA or NHL playoffs this year - no Fathers Day sales.  And now with NFL training camp only a day away and kids getting ready to go off to college - a time when summer sales normally pick up - even views are non-existent.   And yet other sellers selling items at much higher prices don't seem to be similarly affected.   Maybe I should be raising my prices by 50% or 75% with "free" shipping .....

I'm not so happy either. I have been selling on eBay since eBay started up. I do not promote my listings and have noticed I have hardly any views or sales. I don't feel I should have to promote my listings just to sell them. I am thinking about moving to a different site. Too many algorithms on eBay. When I search to buy something everything else comes up except what I'm looking for. I used to love eBay, it was simple and easy. I hope the eBay community does not find out we're not getting sales and views because we're not promoting our items. I don't feel like I should have to pay extra promotion money just to sell an item. I'm already paying fees on the sales tax eBay collects. Not a happy ebayer anymore.

I believe eBay is purposely doing this to get more "promoted" auctions.

It’s just funny, I was doing fine wether they were bots or not, my items would get looks and sell.  Now, I get 1 view and haven’t been able to sell anything.  It’s not the market.  It is directly related to Ebay and their shady practices.  I will be looking for other avenues.  Fees on top of fees and they want to charge you to “promote” your listing that never gets seen.  Outrageous stuff

Ever since the spring update views and sales have dropped. It’s crazy that you can list 10-20 items in a day and weeks later no views……

I know that the whole purpose was to have a more accurate view on who’s viewing items but I think when they got rid of the bots they also are blocking views for people to see your product I also believe they are trying to get too specific with the item specifics which in turns makes it harder to find a item.

I thought that ebay would have fixed their glitches by this time. ESPECIALLY since so many sellers are repeating the same problems, but nothing has been fixed every time you try to bring it to ebays attention you get the same line. 1- you need to make your titles better.

I have been selling for years on ebay, I have a top seller rating , 100 % rating, ship my items usually next day. list over 10 a day. 1700 listings

and I’m lucky to have a view on any of them.

im not sure what to do with ebay anymore? 
they just ignore the problem and their small shop sellers and are now focusing on bigger sellers that promote every listing 

ebay fix your bugs! Clearly the spring update are not just blocking bots but blocking listings and customers.

yes, ebay has made some really stupid changes too and they keep saying my CONTENT  is not secure, but it always was OK until their big changes DUH!

yeah, but they worked on it hard to make it more difficult to list, I don't get it, don't they want sales?

Yes literally as of today morning I update my ebay app and I had some items at 52 views are now at zero. Glitch definetly.

Although I show all ZEROs as others have reported, I found that if you click on a "0" it will still show the graphing of days, and the views for each day.  So, the views are still there, just not being reflected on the sales page.  Obviously a glitch, but you can still check each listing individually (like that's not a pain, right?).
