Just go out in your garage and grab something that says: Made in the USA
List it for a fair price and it will sell
American made products are in high demand
Foreign stuff is abundant and it doesn't sell very well
Try it and let me know how it worked out for you. . .

It would be awesome if ebay added this as a search option.
"Made in USA".

I'll keep that in mind. There are many items in my garage that cannot be sold, they are made in the USA and have sentimental value to me.

What if you don't have a garage?
Seriously, though...yep, made in USA sells, and for many things, the older the better.

If you don't have a garage, you can make a trip out to the shed instead...
(Ooooooh... That sounded bad) 😄

I don't think there is a thing in my house or garage that was made in the USA.

I agree, Made in USA is hard to find and if I'm selling something that is made in USA, I'll put it in the item title.

More and more B&M stores are sourcing products in the US. You have to look and they cost a little more (about 10%) but they are made in the US by other US workers. You can find them if you look.

There is a major department store that was offering US made new startups/companies in their stores. I can't recall who?

I'd love a sale! BUT... I value my marriage more. My hubby is a car guy. And if I started grabbing items from the garage to sell on here it would be all over for me
And @dakotasmoke as far as items made over 30 years ago, I would think those items are more likely to actually be made in the US!

If your stuff lasted 30 years, it wasn't made in China or Taiwan. It was made in USA, Canada or Germany

I hate Walmart with a passion but I got dragged to one with my aunt a while back and they had American made towels right side by side with the ones from China and the cost difference wasnt worth thinking about and they were better made too! I read about American company Emerson Electronics in an economics course and wouldnt you know - Walmart was selling their appliances. They were also at Best Buy and on Amazon for comparable prices to Chinese junk.

I keep telling the young guys that are into buying tools, look for stuff at least 10 years old. All of the modern tools, no matter the name brand and warranty is garbage. The cars and appliances are getting horrible too
