Just curious which software I should use for reporting my eBay sales. I have a full time job, own a home and have a Wife who works full time and 1 child as well as sell on eBay. I am seeing a lot of people mention TurboTax. So I think I wanna stick with that I think. Is TurboTax Home & Business the best version? From what I can tell that is a physical disk that needs to be shipped to me & installed, unless I'm missing something. Is there anything I can just use online? Either way, anyway such as coupons or codes to lower the price?
Thanks for any help.

I've used TurboTax Home & Business for years. I don't buy a physical copy, but buy the digital download version from Amazon. Often times if you have Amazon Prime, there is a 'Prime Members' deal every year too.

Given that archived downloads of prior TT versions are available online there isnt much reason to buy the physical disc anymore. It used to be recommended to keep the software for the same length of time you keep old returns in case you needed to reload/refile etc. New versions allow you to export your taxes as a PDF file so I only keep two prior years worth of installs in my cloud backups.
With TT I think its the Deluxe version that gives you one free state filing so that's usually the one I buy. One year we were unhappy with Intuit's abysmal tech support so tried H&R block and it was not a pleasant experience, so switched back.
Your mileage may vary.
Best wishes.

Without a doubt, TurboTax Home & Business. We purchased it in January at Costco, downloaded the software (no Cd required), gathered our numbers, filed both Fed & State in early February, and had our refunds automatically deposited into our checking account during the first week of March... easy-peasy!
I have my eBay/Amazon businesses and my wife has her craft shows. No problem with multiple Schedule C's. We'll use it again just as painlessly next January-February.
Please Note: As far as simple online bookkeeping, I am one of the first volunteer consultants and beta testers of Seller Ledger, which is being developed as a simple replacement for the demise of GoDaddy Online Bookkeeping, which threw thousands of us under the bus last June and left us without any automatic online bookkeeping service. Seller Ledger was developed by Kevin Reeth, the original CEO of Outright, which became GoDaddy Online Bookkeeping. A lot of us eBay old-timers remember using Outright back in the day.
Seller Ledger, which is almost ready for public launch, is definitely worth checking out. Every 3 hours it automatically downloads all the necessary data from eBay, sorts it, and even posts a sample Schedule C Parts I and II, populated with the sorted data. Bank and credit card accounts can also be linked. (Plans in the near future are to link Amazon, Etsy, and others in the same way). The Seller Ledger numbers for the year 2022 were right on the money with the tax return I filed this past February. eBay users are encouraged to log in and use it on a free beta trial basis to see if they like it. I don't think you'll be disappointed, especially stacked up against Intuit Quickbooks, which is very expensive and is massive overkill and confusion for the average eBay seller who would only use about 10% of it anyhow.
I, and some others, are volunteer eBay sellers, that Kevin Reeth contacted in January to consult with him and his development staff. We do not get paid. But the development so far fits in perfectly with my needs for simple online sales income and expense bookkeeping. Manual entry and editing are available, and I also use it for entering COGs, office & shipping supplies, and daily mileage expenses. Check out Seller Ledger a little way toward the bottom of the first page here on eBay's "Seller Tools" forum.
Cheers, Duffy
