So we're one of the sellers that needs to set up for MP, and I'm having trouble finding the location of exact FVF's by category.
I see the graph with the "basic fees", but if I remember correctly, our specific category has a fee that's not a standard 10% and was something like 8.75% or 9.75% or something like that? I'm having trouble finding the policy page that separates by category.
It seems the MP policy page also has the simplified graph, I'm hoping there's a place breaking down each category for MP as well so we could compare.
For example, an item that sold in eBay Motors>Parts & Accessories>Car & Truck Parts>Engines & Components>Motor Mounts for $116.50 with no TRS discount, FVF $9.49.
I'm wondering what this fee would be on MP?
Here's hoping that the "simplified structure" doesn't end up being a flat fee increase!

Looks like 8.15% according to this https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/fees-credits-invoices/store-selling-fees?id=4122
eBay Motors:

See if this is what you need. You might have to scroll down to see the right info for your store subscription level. https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/selling-fees/store-fees?id=4809
I believe for your example it would be this plus $0.30 per order.

I believe for your example it would be this plus $0.30 per order.
eBay Motors:
- Automotive Tools & Supplies
- Parts & Accessories (except Apparel & Merchandise and In-Car Technology, GPS & Security categories)
- 10.5% on total amount of the sale up to $2,500
- 2.35% on the portion of the sale over $2,500
That's the chart I mean. Also, the comparable chart for non-MP is here: https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/fees-credits-invoices/selling-fees?id=4364
But the thing is, according to this page I just linked, our current fee is simplified in the chart as "10%". But that is not our actual fee, as the example I gave above "$116.50 with no TRS discount, FVF $9.49."
I had to call eBay regarding an issue with billing once, and I believe the specific fee for this category was a fraction of a percent. I also remember someone on the forum a couple years back linking a chart that showed each category, and it being a fraction of a percent.
If the MP fee is really going to be 12.35% for this category, this means it could potentially be a 1-2% FVF increase over eBay/PayPal's current fees.

Gotcha. Yeah, it has been tough to keep everything straight. That chart is the only one I have seen so far for MP but I may have missed another one somewhere.
I believe the link you posted showing 10% in that category is for sellers without a store subscription. I think the current one for that category with a store subscription is something like 8.5% but I'll try to find something that says for sure.

Okay, I figured it out based on some old notes.
It seems our current fee is 8.15%.
This can be confirmed with the math in my above example: 116.50 - 8.15% = 9.49475.
Meaning the current fee of 8.15% + PayPal 2.9% + $0.30 = FVF 11.05% + $0.30
But the pages we linked above with the simplified graph (and not per-category) claim current fees are 10%. Meaning the total would be 12.9% + $0.30. But this is incorrect.
According to the simplified MP graph, FVF would be $12.35% + $0.30. This would be a 1.3% increase!
Yet if we compare the simplified graphs, 12.9% and 12.35%, it's claiming MP would be a discount of 0.55%.
If we apply that same discount with the per-category fee we see currently, the MP fee would be 10.5%.
So I'm wondering, what would the fees actually be for this category? Is there any place I could check this for confirmation? Is this really going to be a fee increase, despite the MP page claiming the fees would be discounted? Or are the same ratios going to be kept and will MP actually be a discounted rate?

Thank you! That's what I was looking for (alongside the MP link on top)!
So it does look like the current rates would apply and 10.5% would be the appropriate one. Great news!

No problem! Yes, I believe the comparison for a store subscription would be current 8.15% to eBay plus 2.9% + $0.30 to PayPal vs 10.5% + $0.30 to eBay on MP.
My only question at this point as far as if it will ultimately be cheaper comes down to that 10.5% being charged on the total including sales tax. That is something that will probably have a different answer for different businesses though, so it's hard to say.

Yep, also if I remember correctly, eBay will refund FVF for cancellations? Which typically we have at least a few cancellations per day, so that'll be some savings elsewhere.
Seeing these numbers, I am assuming at the end of the day, it'll approximately even out. On a $50 purchase assuming 10% sales tax (prior to the $0.30), it seems to come out to current $55.53 > $55.78 (hopefully my rushed math wasn't wrong).
It's just very reassuring to know there's not going to be a significant increase!

Do you, or does anybody else have the MP Selling Fee Schedule for NON-Store Subscribers (those who do not and will not subscribe to an eBay store)?
Thanks

Thanks for sending the link - but when I clicked and explored, this is what I saw:
"Information on fees and how they are calculated will be made available at the beginning of the registration process. Once managed payments is activated for your account starting late July, you will pay only one final value fee, consisting of a category-based percentage of the total amount of the sale, plus a fixed fee per order, with no third-party payments processing fees.
Your final value fee will be automatically deducted from your sales proceeds, and the rest paid out to your bank account.
The variable portion of the final value fee is generally returned to you in the event of a refund or cancellation, and we retain only the per order fee. You will see fewer fees on your invoices, and with all your fees in one place, your reconciliation will be easier.
Most sellers can expect to see overall savings*.

@prettywoman-2012 - hmm maybe it doesn't show it if you aren't already "invited" to MP? I'll check into it and see if I can grab a screenshot for you.
