Where is the USPS Media Mail shipping option in listing page?

Where has the USPS media mail option gone when listing a magazine or book? I no longer see that option listed. Thanks for any help.

Maybe because Magazines do not qualify for Media Mail!

You need to go to the USPS site for MM eligible items.  Books are fine, mags are not, in fact anything with ads are not, such as comic books.  There are exceptions which is why you need a list from USPS.  Such as Media, ie recordings, blank tapes or discs are not, recorded Media is good.  As in DVD's, CD's, vinyl, etc.  Videos, but not blank VHS tape.  It gets complicated.

It's not coming up when trying to list books either.

Just throwing this out to see if it sticks. May not be applicable

Sometimes the listing category will determine if the MM option shows.

I just tried to list a book and when it came to the postage section it asked me to pick one of my shipping policies or create a new one.  I picked a new one and  picked to use calc shipping and under the economy section media mail was listed.   Of course your mileage may differ depending on the listing tool you are using.

Note I was listing in the book cat.

You cannot ship magazines Media mail. You also cannot sell used perfumes under the category you are currently using.

1) eBay does not offer media in some categories.

2) Magazines do not qualify for media mail

You can still print media mail via pirateship and other 3rd party services. eBay has media mail turned off in a bunch of categories that frequently contain media items, likely a backdoor method to encourage sellers to list in the higher final value fee book category.

In fact, media mail on ebay isn't a matter of them having enabled it in the category, it is a matter of them not having disabled it, as it shows up as a label option for me in categories like toys, appliances, collectibles, plush and until a few months ago it was showing up as the default option in video games despite video games not having been eligible for it for a decade or more.

You might also find that it is nearly impossible to compete with other sellers in the areas of magazines, comics, video games and other not actually eligible by content media type items as the system is widely cheated by most sellers in those categories.
