When using advanced search Sold Items, my sold item does not show the shipping the buyer paid it +

shows the shipping price someone near me would have paid $10.60. The buyer actually paid $20.00. This isn't causing me any type of an issue I am just curious as to why eBay is showing this in the advanced search sold items not entirely accurate. Picture attached. Thanks.

When you look at your own listing, the shipping calculator will show the postage cost to your ZIP Code, even after the item is Sold.  Here's the Sold listing showing the shipping cost to a farther ZIP Code (70606)

Does the buyer live near you?

When a listing sells with an offer you won't see the offer price reflected, either. You can find the item's sold price in Terapeak.

Variable shipping costs will always show a variation depending on the location you're using in search.

Thank you. I do understand that I see shipping on my own active listings as if it was shipping to me.  I wasn't sure if everyone was seeing it the same way after it sold, but your graphic tells me otherwise. Appreciate the clarification!

Thank you, no they were not close by so they did pay more for shipping, but I think I understand better now thanks to everyone's responses.

Thank you, I didn't realize the sold listings reflected the variable shipping, that makes more sense. That is true about not showing the exact best offer.

It shows what the shipping would have been if the buyer who searches that item would have paid. For me it shows $14.65
