When does a sale actually count for your monthly total?

I may lose TPS+ status if I don't get 10 more sales before the end of the month.  I was thinking of placing my items in a 10 day auction tonight.  Now if some one bids on one of my items does that count as a sale or only when they pay?   I never really paid attention before.  Also as most know with auctions buyers often take more than say 7 hours to pay,  often times days if ever.  10 days from now is July 31st.  That's cutting it close.  It really wouldn't be worth it to have most of my items in an auction, waiting for bids only for any sales to not count.  I go through too many dry periods with only 70 items.

The sale is counted on the current month when the buyer pays. If it rolls over your 10 day auction ( ending 7-31) and they pay after midnight on 7-31 (west coast time) it will go as a sale for August.

why not put up 7 day auctions? That will give you some wiggle room.

Also, I think you get a month before you lose TRS+, so you would be able to use the grace period to get the sales #'s up. I am pretty sure that is correct, someone will correct me if I am wrong.

I think you meant TRS+ but eh, semantics.

If you look at your monthly breakdown from your dashboard you can see what are counted. From the list below it would appear it is based on shipped items and adjusted based on cancellations, etc.
