Whenever I sell an item I go to Contact Buyer to send a not thanking them, along with a tracking number. Most of the time it allows me to click on "Item Sold" and the item sold will be at the heading of the message. However, sometimes the item sold does not show up and I to click on "Not about Item" or some similar verbiage. Does anyone know why this occurs?

As a buyer, have always been able to see the tracking information in my Purchase History.
And why not just thank the buyer when you leave feedback? Or put a note in the package? Have had sellers do either or, occasionally, both.

I've never seen that happen. Have you tried going back to your orders page and clicking on contact buyer again?

Some sellers like to thank a buyer once the item has been mailed, I do the same thing. Regardless of why the seller is messaging the buyer, the item the buyer just purchased should be showing up on the screen so if it isn't, there is something going wrong.
