Did you mean:

What would you do?

I sold a $90 item (one of the most expensive items i sell) on 2-20-23.

This was a repeat buyer.  He had purchased one from me about a month ago.

On 3-12-23 the buyer opened a INR.

I immediately responded to the case and uploaded the  tracking number.

The tracking was odd.  It did not show "delivered".

Instead it showed "deliver to agent for final delivery".

I did some research on the boards and found that per devon from ebay, I am covered in a INR.

https://community.ebay.com/t5/Shipping/eBay-not-recognizing-quot-Delivered-to-Agent-for-Final-Delive...

The case is still  open and the tracking  hasn't changed.

I forgot to block this buyer!!!

Tonight he buys another one.

The optimistic me is thinking ... he must have received the 2nd one and is now buying a 3rd one.

He's a good repeat customer.

The suspicious me is thinking ... don't got through with this 3rd purchase.

I'm asking for trouble.

What do I do?  What would you do?

Perhaps What do I do?  What would you do?

Perhaps devon@ebay can chime in with advice.

@inhawaii

#1 and #3 are the seller's choice not the buyer's.

He may have decided to try the forwarder because many buyers are shocked by the "high cost of shipping" through GSP.

That "high cost" is because GSP charges import fees to cover Korean duty and sales taxes.

The forwarder would likely do the same.

This may not be clear to the buyer. (Lord knows my fellow Canadians can't figure it out and English is the first language for nearly 75% of us)

EIS seems cheaper than GSP because I understand they do not charge import fees in advance, leaving  those to be paid on the buyer's doorstep.

I have some Canadian pennies you can put in your GoFundMe.

If international buyers want things bad enough, there are other ways to get it. Air America is a prime example of filling that gap. It's a USA sale, to a USA funding source.

Air America is a freight forwarder.

They are NOT a freight forwarder. Period. I'm about tired of people claiming they are. Air America is a RESELLER that SHIPS internationally. When Air American BUYS from you, they pay you. You give THEM feedback. You SHIP to them. They in turn, reship the package THEIR customer bought. Air America IS your customer, not the end receiver. Air America's business is built on copying your listings and selling for a mark up. No different than if a reseller for Amazon buys your product. The Amazon reseller IS your customer, NOT whoever they sold to.

If you don't know the difference between a freight forwarder and a reseller, then I don't know what to tell ya. No excuse to spread fake and false information. A freight forwarder has NOTHING to do with buying the item, they ONLY are receiving and reshipping the package. Period.

Sheesh....

Its not a POTENTIAL case.  The case has been opened since 3-12 and is still open. How long does protection take ?
