Hi. I want to sell this Tupperware shape sorter. But I don't know whAt kind of box it would fit in. Or would it ship in a big bubble envelope. and how much does ahipt cost? I don't think it would fit in a priority medium or large box. Help.

Just a friendly piece of advice-you should always pre-pack your item with the proper box/envelope and weigh it before listing. This will help to avoid any unexpected shipping costs due to having posted the incorrect weight. Glad you sold the toy quick!

What worked for me when I first started selling items around the house was to find the box before I listed. Take your photos, pack it up, and create the listing. Now when it sells, all you do is add the label.

For pete's sake, I don't know why anyone would use or recommend priority mail for an inexpensive toy. Get an 8x8x8 inch box or 10x10x10 inch box, whichever fits. They're probaby a dollar at Wal-Mart. Go with ground advantage or whatever you put on the listing. Remember you can put UPS, FEDEX, and USPS on the listing and let the buyer decide which one they prefer. I believe UPS is the only one not adding a service surcharge for the holidays.

It's interesting how the most basic questions can elicit pages of comments.

I can only answer with ... this is what I would do ...
Find a box big enough to fit.
Pack it as well as possible.
That item is pretty much indestructible.
Ship it USPS Ground Advantage

I shipped one this past week in the USPS 7" x 7" x 7" square. It weighed just under a pound and I had bubble wrap around it. I have many size boxes at the ready and put items in the box before I list. A box any bigger will likely up the shipping to 2 pounds. To find a box try a big store like Walmart or your local grocery store. They are usually happy to give boxes away as they stock. Walmart may even have a comparable size for sale.
