What to do with a neg

Sold a plate on May 28, shipped May 29.
Delivered, parcel locker in CA on May 31.
June 1st I got a neg. He is referencing the time stamp on the delivery scan.
Sorry about wrong time—nothing at 12:07
Royal Delft De Porceleyne Fles Wall Plate 9.75" Hand Painted Blue Floral 1962 (#176336333858)

I think/hope buyers would buy anyway, that is if they think the 95.5% rating is OK and bother to read it.
His last message (June 3) said he will be patient and wait to hear from his post office.
No formal case opened yet.

Do I “poke the bear”?
Do I send a feedback revision request?
Do I just leave it alone?

Any advice welcome.
TIA

Re: What to do with a neg

When I see someone with a low feedback number with a lowish percentage I always look. Sure enough, it's one dopey feedback amidst a bunch of great green. If you can't get rid of it, just use the suggested response above - it hits all the right points.

Thank you all for chiming in, I really appreciate it.
I shall give the revision request a go and see what happens.

@magsmg101

I don't let things like that upset me, especially when the feedback is nonsensical.  I'm getting too old to really care.  It's just words.  Years ago, maybe.  There's really nothing I can do.  Buyers are allowed to post their experiences.  I would try to contact the facebook page and see if they can help you to get it removed:

These US CS agents who are employed by eBay and been known to be very helpful.  Many positive posts on this forum concerning a positive outcome.  Reach out to them today and let them know your issue.

Good luck to you!

Re: What to do with a neg

Makes sense.

Facebook would be a last resort, I am of the opinion that the platform it's self should be the arena for deciding a dispute. Having to go to social media for a resolution just does not seem right...IMO (old fart speaking)

Re: What to do with a neg

Just saw today, you're going to want to update that link, they're doing away with that page.  It'll just be through the main eBay page on Facebook now: https://www.facebook.com/ebay

Re: What to do with a neg

Request negative removal. I just had a neutral removed for about the same thing.
