I have a buyers who has not paid for their item, and it's been 2-3 days. I'd like to relist the item because I know there are other interested buyers. Any recommendations on what to do in this situation?
Thanks in advance!

You can file an "unpaid item dispute". Once you file, the buyer then has a few days to pay. If they pay, it "auto closes" the dispute. If they don`t pay within ebays alloted time frame you can close the dispute and can then get your FVF back and can relist the item.

Don't relist the item unless you have multiples. If you end up with two buyers then the out of stock is a huge strike against you.
File and close the UID and only then relist or use the second chance offer.

You file an unpaid item dispute, wait the appropriate amount of time, and close it.
Do not attempt to relist before the first transaction has been completely resolved.

You open a UPI, unpaid item dispute, after 48 hrs after listing end, then you close it 96 hrs after that, buyer gets a strike, you get your fees back, then you are free to relist.

The Resolution Centre is at the bottom of this page.
You can open an Unpaid Item Dispute after four days/96hours (two days if you are based in the USA).
The buyer then has four days /96 hours to pay up.
If he does not:
Most sellers set their Seller Preferences to automatically Block bidders with Strikes.
EBay will close the buying accounts of bidders with "too many" UID Strikes.

Sadly you'll need to wait a few more days before you can relist . I really hate when this stuff happens especially when the buyer goes silent and won't respond to messages . I have kind of the same thing going on right now . A buyer requested that I make her a custom necklace . I told her I didn't have the special charms in stock that it would take and that I would need to order them . I asked that she allow me a week to create her order , and she agreed . Well , I shouldn't have done that , because I finished her new necklace and listed it a few days ago . I sent her a message that it was ready along with the link . I received a short reply from her but she hasn't paid for her order or even said she was going to . I sent her a second message asking if she still wanted the necklace but now she's gone silent . My bad ,, I should have known . I won't be taking custom orders any longer . Good luck with your buyer . I hope they come through . tulips

When a buyer doesn't pay I simply flag them in the eBay system. Either they pay eventually or I get my fees back.
I have no problem with people not paying. In the supermarket sometimes I put stuff in my cart and take it out before the checkout. Totally no problem with fixed price sales.
(But I can see it can be a problem with auctions)
