What to do about buyer

I sold an item then right after the buyer messages saying if they can change shipping address. The buyers account is from 2021 with no feedback. I then reply saying that I would need to cancel order and then they would have to repurchase with new shipping address. Towards the end of the day no response so I message saying let me know. The next day buyer sends there new shipping address. I then reply and say that they have to repurchase with new shipping address. Then the next day buyer purchases item with different name and this time they have feedback/reviews and account started 2016. But the shipping address is the same as the one buyer messaged me and I know it’s the same person but different account. I read the reviews of the second account, that they purchased from the second time and two of the reviews say terrible customer claiming they didn’t recognize the transaction. Scammer account. Beaware! 
Please let me know what I should do. Should I just ship it or cancel the order?

Honestly, I can't see this working out to anyone's advantage.  I would cancel citing 'problem with address' and block both IDs.  It really doesn't matter what those reviews say, it's not being able to get this buyer to just do the simple task of adding the new shipping address to their account.

BTW, this is not the answer to your question, others have handled that.

But about those negatives that you saw for this buyer -- you do know that sellers are not ever allowed to leave negative FB for buyers, right? And that the buyer could have reported those to eBay and had them erased with the sellers who left them receiving defects?

Thanks for the reply. The buyer first purchased with one account sent message to change address. Sent new address then purchased item again with new address the same that buyer messaged me with. But buyer purchased with different account. So buyer purchased again with the address that they messaged me with but another account/name.

Thanks for the reply. Will canceling it with address problem affect my account. I already canceled it due to address problem but then I let the buyer know that they had to repurchase with new address. The buyer purchased with there new address but with another name/account. I know this is the same buyer because of the address the buyer messaged me with.

That's where I was confused.  I thought they had just repurchased but with the same old address with a new message.

 

If the purchase has the actual registered 'new' address on it, not simply once again in the message, then you will have seller protection and you could send the item.  It all comes down to having the address the buyer wants you to send the item to actually registered with the account that purchased the item.

 

ETA:  The bad reviews would not give a reason to cancel save for 'out of stock' because none of the other reasons would fit (unless, as I had thought, the buyer was repurchasing under an alternate ID but not changing the address).

The new user name you can not use the addy as an excuse to cancel with out possibly getting into trouble.

 

You do need to put both users on your blocked bidders list now.

Ask them if they are the same user in a message...Of course if info you have given is correct they are....

 

Ask your self if you can afford to lose item and all money paid for the item.

Then you can decide what you want to do with this mess.
