Did you mean:

What's with the red corner thingies in Completeds?

Is this new today or have I, as usual, not noticed before?  But believe me, I was working in Completeds last night for hours and didn't see this.

Upper left corner, look like clock hands in a circle in a triangle.  If you click on the listing, you get:

This listing was ended by the seller because the item is no longer available.

Anyone else seeing this?  I was in Dooney Bourke Pebble Leather completeds just a few minutes ago (no, I am not going into the Dooney Bourke business).

My wonderment is why is ebay keeping track of this?  I end things using that box at times because of dupes or other reasons.  I figure the lookers don't care/pay attention.  And it looks better than "dumb seller made error in listing."

Edit:  Light bulb:  Does every ended by seller completed have a reason shown now?  I will investigate this later; must continue with the zillions of little things scattered over all of my tables to be sorted and photoed.

Edit Edit:  I mean, I know the reason for ending has been there before.  Just not the red warning triangle.

I've been seeing that for a long time now. I know in the live listings it means ending soon.  Maybe for sold/ended listings it means recently ended?

The easier you are to offend the easier you are to control.

Because if someone messages you about the lsiting and then you end it, eBay wants to know whether there was an error in the list, or whether it is "no longer available" because you sold it outside eBay 🙂

Agreed, sweet*tea, I associate that symbol with ending soon.  Which is why it didn't make sense on already ended.

Lucky, yes, I assume it's some way of ebay eventually trying to track of off site sales.  But - horror strikes - does that mean ebay is upping the surveillance?  And how would putting the warning on ended listings for buyers/sellers to see make a difference?

Perhaps a weekend glitch; ebay testing some new vigilance track-keeping.  I dunno - just struck me as weird.

Most of mine that were ended by seller would be auction dupes that somehow made it live.
Reality is the leading cause of stress.
