What's up with the multiple Sign in - Login steps?

This started yesterday ... I have to go through multiple Sign in - Log in screens to gain access ... if I try to click the next step too fast it puts me in a repeat loop ... the pics below were 5 steps for just one log in session ... I've had more but the minimum has been 3 ... sometimes I get the little puzzle game or the type in the numbers game ...

Every time you drive through a different State they add one more to your log in!!!

It's just eBay being eBay. The last 2 or 3 weeks I have been randomly running into

similar issues.

That happens with my secondary ID on another account on my computer (I have several accounts on my PC).  I can log in no problem on my main PC account, but get the run-around on the secondary one - it's always that 'oops' message and then it cycles through.

BTW - where do you do those cool arrows and lines?  Big Huge Labs?

Hell is empty. And all the devils are here.

The site has been grumpy about how many different machines I have logged in recently. I guess I can't be on my account with 8 different devices at once 😛 Now I get the stupid puzzle piece game... Working as intended lol

I do all that in Paint ... I take Screen shots then open each one in Paint and copy and paste then add lines, etc.   I can edit pictures for listings in Paint too ...

Did you try going into eBay site preferences?  The last option is to keep me 'signed into this computer' but hopefully means this device.

I'll check that out but on the sign-in pages they do have that option and it is checked ...

The site preferences are not the same as the log in page.

What's up with the multiple Sign in - Login steps?

@mr_lincoln Hi, something similar happened to me recently. I discovered it happens for 2 different reasons.

1. My VPN was on by accident. It is usually off but, turned on, not sure how. I keep it off 99.9% of the time.

2. After I run Norton Utilities which cleans up my cookies & drives, I get an Ebay obstacle course trying to log on. I have to click on that picture & fit the little piece in the puzzle & then try to log in again & it's circular for about 3 minutes. : )
