What's the Best Way to List Multiples of the Same Item

I have 10 vintage punch cups that are exactly the same to sell. Is it better to list them each separately, list them as a quantity listing so a customer can buy 1, 2, 3, or more, or list them as a lot of 10?  Any advice will be appreciated!

Personally i typically choose lots (less work) unless they are fast sellers with decent margin. If they do sell well quickly and for good money, i would consider selling them 1 at a time and list another after one sells. Especially if the item is unique and there are not many listed at the time.

Depends on the item, the value, the shipping, etc.

Generally speaking I'd lean towards a lot of 10 if plastic, or maybe 2 lots of 5 if they're glass.

I'd do a single listing with a quantity of 10 available and discounted shipping for each one purchased after the first.

I'd consider what quantities are other sellers have in listing and how are people buying them.  Sounds risky shipping 10 glass cups together.   Maybe one listing with 2 lots of 5.

It depends on what they are selling for.

I list my china and glass, most of the time, as singles (x10) or sets of 2 (x5)

I try to list with a price that is above my wanted threshold. Let's say $10 total item price at time of sale. (just an example)

If the cups are worth $10 each, list them x10

If the cups are worth less than that each (and vintage glass can be a tough market) then lot them up.

Also, look at the Research https://www.ebay.com/sh/research

See what quantity has sold best in the past.

Edit to add: what alberta said 🙂  Automatic volume discounts work great for multiples.

I do something quite crazy and unusual.

I create the listing and under "quantity" I put the number of items I have for sale.

Just put them all together. If you offer custom quantities then someone will buy 6-8 of them and leave you with 2-4 of them left that have zero market now except for people who need to replace that exact cup.
