What's better high quality listings listing really slow or low quality listings listed fast

I mean would you rather be the snail with perfect listings but it took you all day to get like 20 listings up.

Or the cheetah gettings 100 listings up in one day. But alot of listings won't sell or buyers will need to ask questions.

Depends why it’s taking so long….

But I will say times change - 15 years ago in my category dealers spent hours edit pics (inserting backgrounds colors to match the dress), gave history of the decade’s style, explained a biography of the maker, and gave flowery romantic suggestions regarding how and where to wear it

Now it’s just good pics, dimensions, and 2-3 sentences on construction details

Short and sweet, just the facts ma’am

I think you are vastly over-estimating the value of a so-called "perfect listing".

It depends greatly on what you are listing - I did over 50 new listings today, but many of them are a variant of another one listed, so with templates, the time constraint was pictures, editing and research.

I see so many listings with errors - title says one thing, description says something else entirely.  Typos in the title that hurt your ability to be found in search, etc  (the number of people who cannot spell Halloween, Hermione, McGonagall, Dessert, etc etc  astound me)

The item specifics can be a Royal Pain, but they do work if you take the time to complete what is needed for your items to be found.  I think when you just throw it up there, it shows.  ymmv

I just threw some hats up as fast as a good. And the hairs on them shows. Hairy hats for sale. Didn't take the extra minute to grab my lint roller. And I hate the extra hour to wash a big sweat stain out of a hat.

How many do you need to sell to get out of e-Bay below standard Hades?

1 listing a day for seven days works better than 7 listings all today.

Agree on that.  The beast gets hungry.

Prefer to take my time when listing. Put a lot of effort into my pics, and that can slow me down. But i feel like the extra time gives me an edge because the more pertinent info i can provide to a buyer, the easier the sale can be.
