I saw an even worse one recently. A listing that really put down Ebay itself by a seller who was very unhappy. It disappeared after awhile.

Interesting, I checked out the buyer he is trying to flame in this odd way. The buyer is no longer a registered user, and it shows that the buyer has never left negative feedback for anyone. Weird.

the listing is for a pair of shoes, right? that's what the picture is!
If I don't get the shoes I can just run to ebay and get my money back? right?

My favorite was a guy listing a diamond ring and telling the whole story of his former fiance. The narrative was pretty descriptive.

He gave himself a defect when he use the OOS option to cancel

He probably doesn't even know it's still up because it's on auto-relist. Revision history says it's five months old and feedback says the initial transaction was more than six months ago.
How long will the listing stay up before eBay bots catch it or before someone reports and it's removed? Any takers?
He thinks someone making an offer was a waste of his time. I guess taking time to create the listing wasn't a waste?

I'm not sure this is even an adult.

Imagine trying to read that one on a mobile!
If monitors needed ink, I just ran out...

Those kinds of listings are actually reportable because:
1. there's no product for sale
2. it names and shames another member
I like seeing listings like that from sellers I might otherwise have considered purchasing from, however. Helps me a lot.

Actually - I say kudos to a seller who has the gumption to fight back against some of these buyers and Ebay's wrong decisions many of the times. It's certainly poor customer service and yet I can appreciate the frustration and applaud their imagination.
