Woke up to this on my account,  is this real?

 It was in my notifications and not messages.

Every once in a while, eBay asks me to confirm my email address and phone number that are on record, to make sure they are still up to date and correct. I can click through it without confirming, in which case it will come up again fairly soon (within a couple of weeks?) If I check and confirm the information, then I don't see it again for a year or so.

I always use a laptop to access eBay, not a phone, so maybe I see more information on the first screen, and then it's clear what it's all about.

Thank you both, oh heavens I have gotten these messages before it just looked different on my cell.

Ebay sends you a verification code and you send it back. 

      I'm still glad I asked though!
