Seriously what is happening? On top of the fact that im not generating sales, in months, now i am getting lowballers!!! I just got a $1 dollar offer for a really nice four chair dining table i have listed for $199.00!!! I have always heard good things about ebay so i decided to give it a try. I thought i would do better here than the other selling apps but i am sadly mistaken.

Sorry to hear! Here's some insight/advice:
First, set your auto reject threshold so you don't get low ball offers
Second, people are scared to purchase large items from sellers with low feedback-try to raise yours by at least buying some cheap items.
Third, Local pickup is not so popular-you need to be patient
Fourth, Check eBay to see the value of the items you are selling. Click on the side on "sold items" to see what they actually sold for. Your prices may not be in line with what items are going for on eBay right now.
Last, It's horribly slow all around. On other selling platforms too. But eBay is slower then the others this year.
Hope things get better quick

Go into your active listings and edit them to change your best offer to automatically accept or decline. You can set the amount for each so you won't have to worry about low offers.

eBay doesn't try to determine what a seller considers to be a "lowball offer".
Thankfully, they leave that up to the seller.

I don't live in Mission Texas. With that said, you are a new seller with local pickup. EBay.....naw..
Not everyone is buying furniture while trying to make there rent and feed their families.
Not to be negative, but one has to be realistic.
Happy Holidays,
Grandma

strange time and very hopeful offers it seems. Most are hoping to get you to talk to them and you to give your email: Send fake payment notices.
Good luck.

I usually do REALLY well this time of year. This year stinks. Also, peak season, I have seen ZERO advertisements on TV for eBay, but see PoshMark, Etsy, Amazon... all day long. Why no advertising?? Do they think they are so big they don't need to advertise? Guess again. eBay is not the only or the biggest fish in the sea anymore.... Lack of sales here prove that.
As for low ball offers, I'm not surprised, it goes with the territory. When I get dumb messages like that, I roll my eyes, don't respond, and click the delete button.

Why are you not using auto decline set at your lowest accpted offer? You won't waste time with lowballers then.
