Theres a couple threads about this coupon not working. I can’t find any record of that coupon code existing though. I know there’s a $5 coupon that just went out to select buyers who haven’t bought anything in the last 12 months but I don’t know what the code is. Normally when an eBay code is legit, a quick google search turns it up. All I’ve found is “myfunfive”.

the OP says they got the code in a listing that was ending reminder. I’m thinking eBay screwed up and it’s an old expired code

Jen,  I got a message with that PICKFIVE coupon and trust me, I buy frequently~like yesterday, and the day before, etc.  But I haven't used it as I have not bought today, so I don't know if it works or it doesn't.  Sorry!

From the link you provided I see quite a few threads regarding this. It appears to be for using a credit or debit card, so another one trying to get payments flowing through their new payment system, which is likely the cause of it not working.

You don’t need to call eBay. You aren’t supposed to take it off the price either. When the buyer pays, the $5 is deducted on the buyers end. You still receive the full payment & the $5 comes from eBay. The seller never even knows when a buyer uses one.

ebay coupon ebay pays it,seller gets total amount due($5 dollars more than buyer paid).

You get $5.00 off your order.  Sorry, meant to include that earlier.

Seller gets the full amount of the transaction.  Ebay pays the $5.00 to you, buyer gets the discount.  It all happens at once.  You would never know the breakdown.

So, I contacted Ebay and there is a glitch where the pick five coupon is not working. So I have to tell my buyer to call Ebay to get this problem handled. Not good for me since I am sure my buyer will still not be happy with me.

Thanks for the update. Be prepared, they might ask you to cancel so they can use the coupon. You will have to cancel and relist and have them repurchase. I’m not sure how eBay can fix this since they can’t retroactively apply the coupon. Good luck 🙂

I have already shipped the item.  Ebay will have to deal with her: I just hope it doesn't come back to bite me someway.

One thing I did notice on the offer was that it's only for those who haven't bought in 12 months so I didn't even try it. Also the terms said they have the right to invalidate if the user wasn't eligible,not sure if they do that after the fact.
