I am simply at a loss this morning. I look at my 171 auctions and I have half ranging from 2 days 18 hours to 4 days 18 hours without one page view. Many more with only one or two views. Is eBay that dead? Did they really run off all of the LP buyers? Between the fees, the cost of LP Mailers and inserts, the hours of creating the listings. The cost of the LP's themselves. I lose money at 2 dollars. I just don't get it. The last auction run I did for 48 lp's, the same thing. The choicest LP's sold for literally nothing and rest went unsold. With few exceptions most of these LP's the vinyl is freaking EX by any other sellers grading. I am so disheartened.....

I you are a small seller, You can not compete on Ebay anymore. I believe Ebay has a way to make it where you think your items are visible but they are not. That is why no views. This is just my thoughts on Ebays drastic slowdown. I have many many items with not a single view also.

Hopefully you'll get more views towards the end of the auctions.

Views mean nothing. I truly believe the view counter is never, ever correct. I sell items that have zero views - shouldn't they at least have one? I will sometimes list an item and it will immediately have three or four views.
I don't pay one bit of attention to the view counter, ever.

I have no way of knowing if this is factual or not, I have just read this before on the boards, the first view is a bot checking your listing or indexing it. Lately, it has taken 3-4 days before my listings get the first view.
If you are concerned about the number of views, use the share buttons located under the word "Search" in the upper right hand corner of the listing page to share your listings on social media, if you have pages set up for your business. If you do not have pages set up yet for your business, I would recommend giving it a try.

Have you researched your category to see if most sales come from fixed price or auction listings? In many categories auctions are all but dead. I can see the value when listing a large bundle, but most of your listings are for single albums so you should be able to determine the average selling price easily. My advice is to run some listings as fixed price and see what happens. @extraordinarilyyou

I will tell you this, if I do not have decent bidding going on by Sunday or Monday, I will cancel them all and eat the fees for the LP's that have bids. Cheaper to haul them down to the record store and sell them for cash money.
Now that's a solution.

That is a fair statement. But I will add to that that I only have about 15 lp's being watched and 3 bids on a 171 lp's. The first day views for each grouping were non-existent. 3 bids and next to no watches says this category is dead on eBay.
I've run fixed price. That is where my feedback came from. I have about a 80% or so feedback rate. I really need to get these sold. I am starting to think eBay is a waste of time and money.
I am so at a loss on this. I called eBay yesterday and they said there were no issues with my account and i was on their "Preferred Small & Medium Size Business" list. Well.... if there is such a thing, I am not feeling very preferred. What the heck is a preferred SM business list anyway?

Hmm... I'm sure you have your reasons, but I am just curious, why would you cancel the the LP's that have bids?
If you have a record store that will buy your LP's for an amount that is acceptable to you that is great. It is always a good idea not to put all of you eggs in one basket.

I my opinion - view, watchers mean very little to me - number of items sold and total sales $ (including the S/H charge) received is everything. I might change my mind if there was a way to turn the number view & watchers into $ - eBay thinks you should lower your price because there are eyeballs on your listing and you MIGHT get a sale. In business .50 they teach you your price is right ....... go sell it.

My sales, views, and watchers have slowed to nothing, I am a small seller that shipped 5 to 10 items a day , nothing for the past week. I was listing new items every day this week, which, I feel usually boosts my sales. as long as I am listing I am selling. Listing new items seemed to boost sales in stale items. Nothing works anymore.

You're right ,, nothing is working . I've also been listing new stuff every day at very low prices but I've only made one small sale in a week . This is very unusual . If sales stay at the current rate for another week I may decide selling here just isn't worth it any longer . Between e bay fee's , Pay Pal fee's , promotional fees and the cost of shipping supplies I'm quickly going broke . Tulips

I am sorry that your sales are in a slump. I hope your sales pick up real soon. Your jewelry is so awesome and unique.
January and February were good months for me. March started out very slow, but is finally starting to pick up and I finally went into the green yesterday (compared to last year).
Now that GTC is mandatory, do you have the OOS feature turned on? If you are able to closely reproduce (at least the same style and theme) a sold item, then just take new photos and restock the listing. I have seen a huge jump in search for the items that I have sold with GTC and the OOS feature turned on when I restock the listing. Plus, there is the "Last One" that shows on the listing which may give buyers that sense of urgency.
Good Luck!
