its another useless download that you don't need if you keep proper sale records yourself. Otherwise you may need it but it will just be a huge confusion for anyone doing your taxes because it only lists item/ebay item number/and tax collected for that item... kinda useless cause you then have to match it up with another document that will list all fees and shipping for each item.

This isn't true at all. In some states/countries, electronic vendors are required to collect taxes on digital services provided (ie, your Final Value Fee, your Store Subscription Fee, your Promoted Listings Fee, etc). So if you paid Ebay $100 in fees and your local tax rate was 10% (and they were required to charge tax on services provided), now you owe $110. Congrats.
The UK does this, as well as some states in the US. The problem I have is that Ebay is collecting state-based taxes on the goods being sold, charging sellers a FVF that includes those taxes collected (for Managed Payments sellers), and then will possibly charge sellers another state-based tax on that total for "services rendered".

Uhm that has nothing to do with eBay “tax document” of course you pay tax on what you make, I do, no eBay “tax document” required. Keep your own books. It’s easy.
