Hello to all
Iam in new in business and i set up a store on Ebay .
My first option was to begin to EBAY.COM but dont ship to US so
Considering my options and willing to attract Clients from Europe
i began with EBAY.CO.UK
First month was tough
I sold once and domestic
The second month i tried out ebay.de
All the sales- the same
What iam doing wrong -i set up worldwide shipping option but nothing happens
Any advice i should overcome limitations and without extras i will not
Thanks in Advance
Nick

People may be reluctant to buy from a new seller. As you build a history of successfully completed transactions, that should change. Add to that the fact that you are in Greece. Many buyers may be reluctant to buy internationally.
It can be rough starting.
Having a store does not increase your selling limits; if you get free listings, those may be enough for now.

It may not work when a gear knob shift is listed for $19.99 and costs a USA buyer $24 for shipping, when they can buy the same here for half to 1/4 the price with free shipping, for example.

Have you looked at the costs of international shipping. It is a huge expense.
There are all kinds of things for sale on Ebay that the shipping costs exceeds the cost of the product. Shipping costs are not driven by the cost of the product. But for buyers, especially on hard to find items, the overall price may be something they are willing to deal with.
I have this happen all the time when I sell out of print patterns. Ebay and a few other sites may be the only place you can find them. So you pay what you need to if you really want the pattern.

In this case, the item can be bought with free shipping in the USA for a fraction of the cost.
I could care less about international shipping when I can buy a common item locally or with a USA seller with free shipping.
I simply listed one reason why the seller could have a problem selling to the USA.
Your example is for something you wanted/needed desperately.

And that is for the buyers to determine for themselves. It is possible the item won't sell to someone in the USA because of the cost of shipping, but will sell to someone that is closer geographically to the seller.
The OP is concerned about selling more in general, not specifically to US buyer, just buyers in general.

"And that is for the buyers to determine for themselves."
Of course it is!
Maybe you were looking for this;

I wasn't looking for anything. Because you disagree with me or with the OP on what their needs are, doesn't mean there is something wrong with my post.

I don't disagree with you.
Any response for the OP?

v.accessories,
"What iam doing wrong"
Nothing really, you are new and learning. The few items that you had listed are for a very limited audience, so they may take a while to sell. Spark plugs for specific engines, for example, would gather a more limited watch.
What you could do now, is to sell things more appealing that would attract a wider audience of potential customers; Things that "everyone" wants or uses. Get on their radar, build up your reputation as a great seller; if you want to sell only specialized auto supplies, then expand the offerings to things that will appeal to anyone that drives a car, as well as your specific auto items.
For ideas, what do people around you in Greece and neighboring countries buy? Consider the postage costs as well, from the buyers perspective, some items may be limited, as I said before, to not selling very well in certain places due to unavoidable high shipping costs.
Keep that in mind too, as you are not doing anything wrong, it just is the way it is.
For instance, shipping cost for your spark plugs to the USA costs the customer $24 extra because of high international shipping costs that you have no control over, while shipping the same to nearby Bulgaria costs the customer $5. In Bulgaria, that may be a great deal, in the USA, or $12 to Switzerland, not so much. If it's common, many can buy locally.
So what is not so easily available that you can also add to your offerings?
Have you considered other items to sell that will attract more buyers and build your reputation? Do you have any things that are unique to Greece but not so much to other countries?
Good fortune to you!
