Is anyone else missing it? I have tried on Chrome and on Firefox, cleared cookies/data and there is no sell similar button now.
Scratch that question. Turns out eBay motors no longer has it, something to do with guaranteed fit and them wanting people to manually fill out all the info. A lot of us check over everything and make sure, but a lot do not even bother, so I suppose it makes sense to get rid of that option on certain categories.
Ill leave this post up for those who do not know.

I hope your evening improves.

this is complete bull**bleep**. Ebay had us build this huge database for them - now they revoke this? I'm not every freaking time I list an auto part going through the complete fitment for it. It's gonna take an HOUR for many of the parts that I sell! Ebay - get it together - put it back where it belongs immediately!

That is not an auto part. It's not all categories.

The others are talking about Ebay Motor listings.

Again, this issue is specifically for some types of Ebay Motors listings @lukdudle .

you used to be a helpful person but you seem to have stopped fully reading or looking at what is being said and just jump to a conclusion.
not useful at all.
get better or stop replying.

I'm unsure as to why you feel you have the right to even suggest that any member should stop replying.
This however seems to be an over reaction on your part to something that is easily explained.
Now maybe I should have just asked some questions of you first before saying "Again, this issue is specifically for some types of Ebay Motors listings" and I certainly could have left off the first word of that sentence to make less harsh. I apologize for that.

FYI, the sold listings likely were created before they made changes. Sold items do not change from what they were at the point of sale. With that said, IDK if the option would work from a sold listing, you'd need to test that if you find one that works for you.

Just another bit of proof that ebay doesn't care what we think or want. Overpaid and clueless. Raise our costs and make it harder to sell every day
10-22-2023 08:43 AM
Thats awesome that you are able to bury 15% to 20% in fees into your items price - really a ridiculous statement - That means one of two things: That you are selling it for what its worth and NOT covering your fees, or you are selling it for 15% to 20% more than what its worth and ripping off your buyers and also escalating one of the biggest problems chasing buyers away from this site right now - inflated prices ... You go...
LoL. Do you honestly believe that EVERY business does not bury (include) their fixed costs into their pricing model? You don't?
This is a real estate cost for us. Our 'real estate' is virtual. We rent our store from a third party that we need to have in order to sell our stuff. The costs of doing that are reflected in our prices. Yours too. You 'rip off' your buyers by charging them what it costs, plus a profit. Yes, you do.
Oops, did I offend. Is 'profit' a dirty word comrade?
When you buy something at WalMart, included in that price is things like rent, and interest ... and those prices to WalMart have been inflated. Which is why the prices they charge their customers is inflated. We can talk about the reasons for that, but we'll get into politics ... suffice it to say that we are getting exactly what we asked for - we voted for these criminals.
WalMart is not ripping anyone off, they're living up to the responsibilities they have to their shareholders to be profitable. (sorry about that word again).
All costs of sale are included in the price of sale.

Agreed! Total horse **bleep**. Ebay keeps screwing over its sellers.
