The likelihood that they will change it back, or even offer the option of using it on an "opt-in" basis, is slim at best.
What I've found useful is to set up the three pages I use most (active selling, sold and unsold) the way I like them and then bookmarked them in my browser to use as direct links to those pages. This has been much better for my blood pressure than trying to remember where I found them in the first place. Of course, I do all of my work from my desktop, so I have no idea if something like this is even an option in the mobile apps.
Oh sure, every once in a while I'll screw-up and use one of the "My eBay" links from whichever page I'm on, but my bookmark quickly gets me back to where I wanted to go.
