What happened to fixing promoted listings impressions data?

I remember being told mid to late November for a fix, right before they removed the impressions tab completely. It's now December and still no fix.

they did fix it.  It was demostrably wrong so they removed it!

Hi everyone, no update to provide at this time but I can assure you our technical teams are working on a fix as soon as possible. Keep an eye on Seller Hub for any changes as we work on a solution.

What's more troubling is that if you have a MULTI VARIATION listing, your listing is NOT appearing as a Promoted Listing EVER once someone selects that variant as a filter. In my case, it's shoe sizes. Once someone selects a Size 12, if you have a multi variant listing with size 10, 11, 12, etc., your Promoted Listing will NOT get an Impression, no matter what. This is no longer just a "reporting issue" -- this has destroyed my sales over the last 2 months. I just made a post about it here:
