Can we get the results of what the effects are after removing bots from views?
Ebay had 180 million customers, which went to 150 million after a review. Research shows non-human bots make up 60% of the internet, which connects 40% of humans from search engines to websites and products. I'm afraid If it's micro-management with targeted traffic, only a 5 dollar stock price will start the conversation.
Is it possible ebay cut the customer base by 60% after removing non-human bots? Can we address results?

Then stop worrying about bots as they have nothing to do with your stock purchase. Buyers are what increases Ebay's stock not watcher or bots. Maybe consider selling your stocks now while you have a chance since you do not seem to understand the market right now.

I'm baffled why anyone even cares about the views thing - one can click into that number and see 90 days worth of views if they like, and bots don't buy, anyway. 🤔 It was basically junk stats the way it was. And having 340 views on an item over the last six months may feel good to the ego but it doesn't prove anything else save that 340 entities, human and non-human, saw an item that they did not want, even if they thought it was a great item (though I don't know bots' tastes intimately - I think they may tend toward maximalism).

Oh snap!
Now I'm gonna have to try and learn what software robot's prefer?
Scary stuff! Last time I encountered a software robots activities directly I tried chasing it with my mouse pointer. Next thing I knew there was a growling sound from my PC speakers, "Whap!" my cordless mouse flew out my hand, jumped off the desk and hit me in the head!
You're spot on Chapeau, views really don't matter its conversion rates.
Cursory glancing at view totals might have a vendor reduce price or perhaps take a lower best offer knowing said widget has high views counts or low view counts etc. Sorta how I used them.

Pretty much all they told me.
However, we finally also have an actually useful metric. I'll click into the views for an item and can see how it has fared over the previous 90 days. It also tells me if views have gone up or down compared to the last 30 days, or the last 90 days. One item I looked at had an improvement in views of 16.7% over the previous 30 days. If it had started dumping or shown decreased views over the previous 90 days (I don't run listings longer than that), I know right away I need to examine the listing.
