Just did a product search and, for the first time that I've seen it, off to the right, it listed the seller's user name, the item number, feedback score, feedback percentage, Top Rated Plus (for those to whom it applied), a direct link to the seller's store (if they have one) and special promos (I saw one that had, in red type, "save up to 20% when you buy more).
Now in fairness I do not do a lot of product searches but I do not remember seeing it previously.

eBay is working on a new design for that page. Changes in what information is displayed--and where--having been changing off and on for awhile now.
I've customized my display to show those details for ages now, but I think some people are seeing it that way for the first time.

This is what mine has looked like forever (after I customized it). Is this how yours appears now? What are you used to seeing displayed? Do you know where/how to customize it?

Could you maybe post a screenshot of what you're seeing displayed now on the listings for your search results?

Looked at a few old screenshots of product pages.
Off to the right showed seller's user name, feedback # and feedback percentage.
Anything like "limited quantity available" or "save up to 20% when you buy more" was displayed under the price/ship/condition where they had a few bullet points and above the single italicized line they plucked out of the description.
Viewed a product page just now and there's a contact seller link below their FB - that's new (to me). Not seeing the item number you referenced. Not seeing the store link you referenced. The contact seller link is the only new thing I'm seeing.
But as we all know, eBay does tests and different users may see different views.
Edit: You are talking about product pages, not regular listing pages or search view, right? That's what I took away from your comment about doing product searches.

I took it to mean the search results page that shows all the listings that meet the search criteria (in theory).

Yeah, it can go either way. @richard1rst will need to clarify which page he's viewing:
Product Page
Listing Page
Search Page
If he's talking about the search page, those customization options have been around forever, but many people using the site don't know those settings are there. It doesn't surprise me that it would be new to someone, even a long-time buyer or seller.

Yes--as I mentioned in my first two posts, I've had mine display the specific info shown in my screenshots in previous posts.
Can you posts some snippets of the displays you're referring to? I'll see if mine look the same as yours.
I don't think @richard1rst is coming back. 😕 It might just be you and me! 🙂

If schedule permits I'll come back another day this week. Finished work for the night and turning off the computer. Time for some R&R.
Richard usually comes back to the discussions he starts so you'll probably be able to continue this with him tomorrow.

If you do return, @ mention me. I don't usually revisit older threads, and I don't use that Community notification system that sends an email when someone responds or whatever.

I've been seeing this for about 4-6 weeks - I asked about it on a private merchants' forum where I post and no one else had seen it, so I guess it's a slow roll-out.

Had some errands to run.
It was the search page “Search for anything” at the top of the page.
I did headline this “this is new MAYBE”
I am a long time seller. But I very rarely buy anything. I use the search page mostly for when I am on the verge of buying a new line. I check to see how many others are selling it. If there too many other sellers I pass on the purchase, preferring items with fewer sellers. No point buying into a saturated market.
I am aware that the page can be customized but, as per the above, it is not something that I felt compelled to do since my intent is simply to see how much competition there is (and what it is selling for). The other info, although useful to a buyer, is of no interest to me.
Since I am on the page so infrequently it is possible that changes have been made that I don’t see right away. But this is the first time I noticed it. So I commented. Obviously it was already well known.
As Roseanne Roseannadanna used to say “Never Mind”.

I've read about it but haven't noticed one yet. I think it's supposed to instill confidence, so we'll see. Are there any bad 'side effects'? I don't think so, but it never takes long for someone to come to the Boards and write about it, so we'll stay on alert!

Oh, I love that!! I hate searching for item numbers so it has my vote! Thanks for sharing, pburn!
