Was Their A Store Free Listings Problem

I believe I read here there was an issue with store listings not having the correct amount. I have 1000 free listings with my basic store, and like to I,prove my search results. I did not have 1000 listings at the beginning of the month. It was about 450.

I have searched and cannot find the answer. Customer service is no assistance. Am I crazy, or did I read this.

When I sort your listings by "Newest first," most of them show that they were listed on February 1.   Those all would have rolled over on March 1, using up some of your March allotment of free insertions.

I always have 1000 at the first of the month. I NEVER have had this issue before, and I use them.  At the first of every month it says 1000 listings available.

It looks to me like at midnight on March 1 you might have had those 1000 free insertions, but then a significant number of them were immediately used up by the rollover of your listings that began on February 1.

Yes, I'm aware of that thread (I even posted in it a couple of times), which points out a glitch and says "This is affecting listings created Feb 10th and later, not listings created before then."

On or about February 10, eBay seems to have switched the rollover date system from "same date every month" to "every 30 days" as it used to be before 2019, or maybe to "same date minus one".  So listings that began on March 1 will apparently roll over on March 31, which would mean that some sellers might exhaust their free insertions for March and incur fees for rollovers which should not have happened until April 1.

This glitch doesn't seem relevant to your listings which began on February 1, which apparently rolled over right on schedule on March 1.

@nobody*s_perfect

I see what you are saying, but why is this the first time this has ever been the situation?

Maybe February 1 was the first time that you listed hundreds of items on the first day of the month?   Do you usually list a lot of stuff on the first day of the month?  Fixed price listings that began before February 10, 2024 will roll over on the same date as they began.

Yes usually. Well, I may just go up to the next tier. Trying to talk to VS is pointless

Victoria's Secret won't be able to help you with this.
