It has been over 60 days since I requested to close an eBay account and my last sale, and it is still there. I paid all my fees at that time. But I just noticed that I owe $.01. What is that all about? Should I pay that? is that what the hold up has been? Thank you for any help!

Yes, that would indeed prevent you from closing it. That and any open subscriptions.

Doesn't have to be a store.

it because you have to find a wishing well and flip that penny in a well and make a wish .

If you want to be rid of your Ebay account, pay the fricking penny! This is noting different than, for instance, a regular utility bill requesting a penny to close out an account when you are moving.

I don't think ebay will accept a payment for fees that are less than 1.00
But it would be great to pay that penny via a CC - they would get charged more to received the penny.
